Hong Kong, 30 July 2015 – JET Asia-Pacific magazine celebrated the 30th issue since its inception over a decade ago with industry leaders of the business aviation industry and VIPs on 30 July at Boujis, Hong Kong.
Decorated with past issue covers of the last ten years, the evening started with speeches by Editor-in-Chief of JET Asia-Pacific, Anthony Lam, Board of Governor of the Asian Business Aviation Association (AsBAA), Mike Walsh, and Managing Director of WingsOverAsia, Yeow Meng.
“JET Asia-Pacific has come such a long way since its inception in 2004. We are humbled to have had the opportunity as the first and leading platform for Asia’s high net worth readers to connect with the business aviation community, jet owners, high flyers, and to discover what resonates most with them in their chosen bespoke lifestyle. I’d like to thank our advertisers, readers, subscribers, and the AsBAA for the mutual support, and we would not be where we are today without each and every one of them. We are proud of our milestone and are committed to strengthening our reach to HNWI’s across Asia and bringing our ultra-niche platform to even greater heights,” remarked Anthony Lam, Editor-in-Chief of JET Asia-Pacific.
“On behalf of the AsBAA and the Chairman Charles Mularski we would like to pass on our heartfelt best wishes and congratulations to JET Asia-Pacific. As a non-profit organization, AsBAA representing the industry wish to thank JET Asia-Pacific for their unwavering support. Together we continue to make a positive impact on business aviation across Asia,” said Mike Walsh, AsBAA Board of Governor.
Yeow Meng, Managing Director of WingsOverAsia added “Before exclusive private flying was an established activity in Southeast Asia over a decade ago, JET Asia-Pacific was the first to recognize the region’s potential and was one the first to report on the latest developments which continues strongly today. WOA congratulates JET Asia-Pacific on this milestone and salutes the title for its pioneering vision and true commitment to private aviation through its high end lifestyle platform.”
Over 150 guests joined to celebrate this significant milestone for the magazine. Keeping the night well-greased were also fantastic cocktails by Grey Goose, as well as jet-themed canapés and a series of raffle and prize draws. A number of delighted winners went home with gift certificates for luxurious travel sets, spa treatments, and complimentary helicopter ride experiences, as well as an exclusive Boujis membership and resort stay at Fivelements, Bali Indonesia. At the end of the night, guests were treated to gift bags by Mazu.
