Action Asia Magazine launches refreshed website
As part of Action Asia Magazine’s 25th anniversary, the website www.actionasia.com has been given a fresh new look, making it easier to access content, regardless of whether you are surfing on a smartphone, tablet or larger screen.
“One of the main aims was to make better use of the epic photography that is a commonly admired feature of the magazine,” said Editor-in-chief, Steve White. “Today’s screens can display this to great effect so this was a simple way to deliver an improved experience for the user.”
Another focus was to use a mobile-first strategy, in line with today’s media-browsing habits. Using a build that is responsive to the screen in use means the site looks just as clean viewed on a smartphone, with unobtrusive menus and bars bringing all the functionality without crowding the content.
The refresh comes as the magazine marks its 25th year. Launched in 1992 as Asia’s premier adventure travel resource, it remains a respected voice in a field that has grown considerably in that time.
